MEMBERSHIP

For individuals and co-operative organisations in the United Kingdom, membership includes a subscription to the Journal of Co-operative Studies.   Non-UK residents or other organisations, wishing to receive copies of the Journal are referred to the Journal page and the Journal Rates and  Journal Application pages

Society membership is open to both individuals and Co-operative organisations in the United Kingdom.  In order that the Society may be fully open to all those eligible, the membership rates, shown in the table below, are based on a scale of charges according to income. The basic rates have been set as low as possible in order that students and those of limited means are not deterred from joining.  Most members, however, will be expected to opt for the sponsorship rate.   Donations are welcome.

The membership year begins on 1stApril of each year. Those joining after the commencement of the membership year will receive back issues of the Journal for that year.  Individual members receive one copy of the Journal; organisations receive five copies.
